Learn More: Will Carrol – Training Coordinator
Will has worked in and managed dive schools since he was a teenager locally and abroad. He spent 12 years as a career IT Network Administrator and 5 years with the U.S armed forces.
Will was recently awarded for his 30 years as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer instructor with PADI.
Will began his diving career as a young SDI instructor on the weekends to pay for school. He ended up managing a store and didn’t realize it at the time but diving instruction would be his longest running career.
He left for the military and became a member of the U.S. Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion. He served overseas in Somalia and the United Arab Emirates before deciding that a career in computers might be a safer option.
After 12 years in IT Will jumped ship and left the high speed world of computers to start his own diving company along with his wife. “My heart just was not with ones and zeros.”
A grand opening in 2007 was followed by hard times with the 08 recession. “We learned that referral business was the only thing that kept the store from going under. Treat your customers with respect and honesty and they will send their friends to you!”
